Dr. Elizabeth Coe, D.O., is a physician graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed a rotating internship at Michiana Community Hospital and a family practice residency at Ft. Wayne Medical Education Program. Before coming to Oconee Valley Healthcare, Dr. Coe and her husband were involved in starting Georgia Pines Family Clinic in the 1990s as well as working for Dr. Robert Williams in Washington, Georgia. She worked for Dr. Dave Ringer before transitioning to what is now Oconee Valley Healthcare in 2001.
Dr. Coe has been a long standing board certified physician through the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the Georgia Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Coe is interested in all aspects of family practice but especially in diabetes, Hispanic medical outreach, well-woman care, and cancer prevention approaches. She is involved in the community through the theater, in her church, local musical venues, medical volunteerism, as well as in tutoring and mentoring underprivileged children over the years, most recently through Georgia’s REACH program.
Managing their little farm, reading, gardening, camping, traveling, and dancing are among her favorite interests outside of her lifelong commitment to medicine and allied healthcare. That involvement spans 47 years.
